Flexible Corrugated Graphite tape

Description

Flexible Corrugated Graphite Tape with Adhesive made of pure graphite (99% grade) with or without a self-adhesive layer. A standard thickness is 0.8 and 0.5mm and a width availability: 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30 mm. The graphite tape has the full chemical resistance (0-14 pH), high thermal resistance up to 900°C and it can withstands a montage pressure 250 N/mm2. The tape is crinkled or corrugated to enhance the tape flexibility.

Working Temperature Range:

Oxidizing Atmosphere, such as air: 240 °C to 510 °C

Mild Oxidizing Atmosphere of most gasket applications: -240 °C to 850 °C

Non-Oxidizing Atmosphere: -240 °C to 3000 °C

Thermal Conductivity:

Parallel to Sheet Surface: 960 BTU-in/ft2.h.F (140 W/m.K)

Through Thickness: 36 BTU.in/ ft2.h.F (5W/m.K)

Applications

Flexible Corrugated Graphite Tape with adhesive can be used as form-in-place gasket, valve stem packing, pump stuffing box packing, thread seal, or other irregular shaped seal/gasket.
