Modified PTFE Gasket Sheet with Aluminosilicate Glass Microspheres is a PTFE gasket material with aluminosilicate microspheres. It offers much improved performance over standard PTFE and helps reduce product loss and emissions. Modified PTFE Gasket Sheet with Aluminosilicate Glass Microspheres Blue Style KXT 500 helps minimise cold flow problems typical of expanded PTFE and also has excellent bolt torque retention. As with standard PTFE and other materials, it withstands a wide range of chemicals. This material also conforms to FDA regulations and can be cut to meet your specific requirements utilising our in-house CNC machining technology.
Applications
Used with glass-lined, enamelled or plastic flanges in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, and electronics sectors. Suitable for use with a wide a wide range of media, including moderate concentrations of acids, hydrocarbons, solvents, water, refrigerants, cryogenics and some caustics
