NBR Rubber Sheet
Product Description
Product Detail
NBR Rubber Sheet
Nitrile Nitrile rubber, as well known as Butadiene Acrilonitrile, Buna-N, Perbunan, or NBR rubber, was first developed in 1941 in a project meant to find an oil resistant rubber. However, NBR’s oil resistance depends on the grade of acrylonitrile
The higher the grade of acrylonitrile the better is resistance to oil and fuel. However, as the grade of acrylonitrile increases, the endurance to low temperatures decreases. NBR has good abrasion resistance nonetheless its physical properties are moderate in comparison with the Natural Rubber.
Nitrile rubber sheet has outstanding resistance to: oils, petrols, solvents, and lubricants, but poor ozone resistance. Poor ozone resistance. Good resistance to inorganic chemical products except antioxidant agents and chlorine, and has satisfactory resistance to general hydrocarbons
Advantages
• Good general resistance to solvents, lubricants
• Good general resistance to oils, petrols
• Good compression set, tear strength
• Wide range of sevice temperature
• Good resistance to alkalis acids
• Good tensile strength, flexibility
• Moderate aging properties
• Good adhesion to metal.
• Good use with water
• Has good recovery
Application
• Most inorganic chemical products industries
• Not for antioxidant ahents and chlorine
• Petroleum-based hydraulic fluids, oils
• General hydrocarbons application
• Good materials for gaskets
• Industrial maintenance
• Rubber seal strip.,etc
